These are lists of words that children will work through from Prep. First starting with learning to recognise and read words and later to spell them. We suggest only moving on to the next list when your child is confident with the current list they are learning. Lists may also be overlapping where your child is learning to spell list 2 and read list 10. Please also look at the puzzles and games links below that incorporate these words to assist in reinforcing them in fun ways of learning!
TIP
You may even like to print the words on card and cut them out individually. Put them in a little box and you and your child can have fun practising them while in the car, on the bus or when you have some quiet time out and about!
